Dan Clifton

Dan Clifton is an award-winning writer, film-maker and journalist, with a love for gripping stories and bringing them alive on screen through first-class story-telling and powerful, moving images.

Dan has a long track record making drama documentaries and films in the science and history genres, covering subjects ranging from the race to the moon to the causes of the Hindenburg disaster. Dan is now moving into scripted work and has been developing a number of projects as Writer/ Director aimed at both the cinema and television.

From 1996-97 Dan took a break from directing when he was headhunted by Tony Blair to become Broadcasting supremo in the team that delivered Labour’s landslide victory, working alongside Peter Mandelson and Alastair Campbell. Prior to that he worked as Political Producer on ITN’s Channel Four News.
