Dan Clifton

Dan Clifton is a writer, director and producer working across documentaries and film.

Dan has a long track record as a documentary filmmaker with credits for both British and international broadcasters. His docu-drama credits include ‘true horror’ films for Paranormal Witness (Syfy); Stephen Hawking’s Grand Design and Human Body: Pushing The Limits, which was nominated for Primetime Emmy and RTS awards for Excellence in Visual Effects. Dan has a special interest in science, having written and directed many acclaimed films, including films for BBC’s Horizon and Channel Four’s Equinox strands.

Recent projects include a film about black holes; a short film adaptation of a William Boyd short story, Patient 39; and a drama documentary project about online predators, Web of Lies.
