Robyn Sheppard has been announced as the new Chair of the TV Fiction Committee Chair.

Robyn will take over the position effective immediately. She replaces former Chair Paul Unwin, who remains on the Board as the Vice-Chair of the organisation.

The TV Fiction Committee is responsible for the following:

• campaigning for the interests of Television Drama, Comedy and New Media directors;
• devising policies for Directors UK to advocate and pursue relating to television fiction and the interests of TV fiction directors in the UK and submitting these to the Board for approval.; and
• monitoring agreements with broadcasters and independent production companies.
