Michael Caton-Jones on World Without End

Michael Caton-Jones is a director who has made his mark on both sides of the Atlantic. Having started his career in UK television in 1987, the Scot has gone on to work with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, such as Bruce Willis, Robert De Niro, John Hurt and Ian McKellen. Responsible for such box office hits as Rob Roy, Doc Hollywood and The Jackal, Michael has recently made something of a return to television, first with Spooks, and now with World Without End, an adaptation of the Ken Follet novel.

We caught up with Michael to find out how he came to work on the series, how he feels film differs to television, and what's coming up next.
