How to Join

To find out if you're eligible to become a member of Directors UK, please read the table below. If you would like to apply to become a member, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.

Full (existing member wishing to upgrade from distribution-only membership Current member No attachment required £120 + VAT p/a
Full (new member) Principal director of a screened feature film (commercially exploited film or DVD release) or a UK TV programme broadcast in the UK CV / filmography and a form of ID, e.g. photocopy of passport/driving licence £120 + VAT p/a Full membership includes a one-off fee to receive distribution payments indefinitely, regardless of whether you choose to renew your subscription.
Full - Over-65 years Directors who are over the age of 65. Existing Distribution-only members – no attached required

New members joining for first time - CV/filmography and a form of ID		 £60 + VAT p/a
Associate Active director with a recognized and verified individual director credit on a publically-screened audio-visual work (film, TV, music video, commercial, computer game, etc.) Recognised credit on an audio-visual work / copy of contract and a form of ID, e.g. photocopy of passport/driving licence £60 + VAT p/a
Shooting APs (under Associate category) Shooting APs must have directed sequences in a UK TV programme broadcast in the UK or abroad. A broadcast credit as an AP is necessary to qualify for Associate Member status. Recognised credit on an audio-visual work / copy of contract and a form of ID, e.g. photocopy of passport/driving licence £60 + VAT p/a
Student Currently in final year of study on a full-time accredited course, of at least one academic year in length, with a recognised education provider. Course elements or modules must focus on the practical direction of either film, TV, music video, computer game, adverts or animation. Copy of valid student ID, with proof of course/acceptance letter £60 + VAT p/a
