We’re pleased to invite Directors UK members to an exciting online career development session with John Strickland, director of Line of Duty, Bodyguard and Strike Back, as he takes us through directing from script to screen.

Anya Camilleri (Clink), who was mentored by John on the set of Strike Back, will moderate the session, where attendees will see an action scene from Line of Duty and another from Bodyguard broken down in detail. Taking in storyboards, location, editing and more, this is a great way to see how John converts the written word into an exciting sequence.

The event will take place on Wednesday 19 August, at 5pm.

To get a place at this event, simply book via our event page by 12pm on Tuesday 18 August. Attendees will then be sent a link to join the Zoom call.

We can’t wait to see you there!
