The winners of the 2019 Craft & Design Awards were announced on Monday at a London ceremony hosted by comedian Ahir Shah.
We’re pleased to report that Directors UK members were recognised in every directing category. Directors UK member Bridget Caldwell won in the Director – Multicamera category for The Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, while member Shane Meadows took home the Director — Drama award for The Virtues.
In the Director - Documentary/Factual & Non Drama category, Directors UK member Wendie Ottewill won the award for her programme David Harewood: Psychosis and Me. And finally, in the Director - Comedy Drama/Situation Comedy category, the award was presented to member Nida Manzoor for Enterprice.
