Julian Farino and Colette Camden win the inaugural RTS Craft and Design Director awards

Reading time: 1 minutes and 2 seconds

Congratulations to Julian Farino and Colette Camden, winners in the two Director categories at last night’s RTS Craft and Design Awards.

Julian Farino triumphed in the Director - Fiction category for his work on BBC Two’s Marvellous. Part biopic, part musical and part fantasy, Marvellous starred Toby Jones as the charming and inspirational Neil Baldwin.

Colette Camden picked up the Director – Non Fiction award for the What Do Artists Do All Day? episode about artist Sue Webster. First shown on BBC Four, this film explored Sue Webster’s latest work and her future plans as a solo artist.

These new categories were introduced following a successful Directors UK campaign earlier this year. Directors UK welcomes these awards as a way of recognising the significant contribution directors make to programme-making excellence.

Our congratulations to Julian, Colette and all the other winners.
