Biography

Ashley Pegg is an award-winning documentary and fiction director. He won an Arts & Humanities Research Council Scholarship to study an MA at the National Film and Television School. He won Best First Time Director at the Canada International Film Festival and he was shortlisted for a prestigious Grierson Award and nominated for Best Short at the London Short Film Festival. He was selected for the BFI documentary mentoring and he was one of eight writer/directors selected for Screen Yorkshire’s Triangle scheme. He has produced content for the BBC and corporate and third sector clients such as Co-op, Royal Exchange Theatre, ECM and Aldeburgh Music.
