Directing Competitions with ARRI

Throughout the year we run two competitions in association with ARRI: Challenge ALEXA and the ARRI Doc Challenge.

Challenge ALEXA is an annual competition run by Directors UK and ARRI. Currently in its sixth year, the contest gives Directors UK members the chance to win a free two-day ALEXA shooting package, to include the use of either an ALEXA SXT or ALEXA Mini camera with Master Anamorphic lenses.

In 2018, the ARRI Doc Challenge ran for the first time. Directors were tasked with shooting and editing a short documentary in three days. They were provided with a full AMIRA or ALEXA MINI camera package, and the winner was presented with a prize of £3,000.

On this page you can watch a selection of films that have been made by Directors UK members through these great initiatives with ARRI.
