Directors UK has been running competitions in association with ARRI for over a decade — Challenge ALEXA and Challenge TRINITY have challenged our members to create shorts using state-of-the-art equipment. Find out more below.
Challenge ALEXA
Challenge ALEXA has been running in partnership with ARRI since 2011.
Directors UK members are given the opportunity to win an ARRI shooting package, with access to the latest top of the range ARRI equipment, including the ALEXA Mini LF and Signature Prime lenses.
Following a successful pitch, our members create a short piece of work based on their interpretation of a theme that differs each year.

Challenge TRINITY
Challenge TRINITY tasks our members with making an original one shot film in one day.
Like Challenge ALEXA, the competition receives applications from across the talent pool of Directors UK members, and pitches are encouraged to embrace the unique capabilities of the ARRI TRINITY camera stabilising system.
