Building Your Brand on Social Media — with Dinita Moore

Dinita will be discussing how to get started on social media as well as promoting yourself and your work effectively. Learn about different platforms, their algorithms, and what you need to start sharing your craft and expanding your network. Leave ready to take control of your social media accounts with an emphasis on brand building and celebrating your work as a director.

The content of this workshop will include:

  • What is social media?: An introduction to social media and the algorithms that drive it.
  • The platforms and how to use them: An introduction to social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok and how they can be used professionally.
  • Setting up your accounts: How to set up your accounts, choose your username and post your first post.
  • What to post: What works and why, detail on what you should be posting to promote yourself and your work.

Dinita Moore is Social Media and Digital Content expert with 10 years experience working with brands like Red Bull, BBC Three, Endemol, Sonos and M & C Saatchi, on campaigns and content for everything from broadcasting and entertainment to technology and tobacco.
