Today, Directors UK Vice-Chair James Hawes spoke at a Culture, Media and Sport (CMS) Select Committee for British film and High-end television.  

James used the session to provide his insight on the issues faced by directors directly to MPs. While calling for freelancer support, James highlighted the significance of protecting IP as a source of income for filmmakers:
